Ah Home Sweet Home, get those fires on quick it's perishing in here! Our journey to Torquay went fairly quietly weatherwise, the opposite of what we had expected. The weather there was on and off, it couldn't make its mind up whether to rain or not. Got soaked a couple of times anyway. Hotel room was freezing, heater would not work for us, so the spare blankets were fully utilised. Cold rooms I can take, but cold bed, no.
Journey home was a lot wilder, windy and blowing wet. It took 11 hours compared to the 9 it took getting there. And coming home to a freezing house, brrrrrr
