How embarrassed explained

Oh how embarrassing! I visited the local library to enjoy a chat and read session with Alfie Crow and Kate Fox last night with others from the writing group. Darn tickle in throat nearly had me turning blue, I ran for the loo at half time. Highly embarrassed I had to give my excuses, I couldn't sit through the further half like this! Waited ages for a bus, coughing and making people move away from me ... I spluttered at the driver who also hastily turned away, sorry mate, then it finally subsided as I got to the front door. Now shall I dare show my face Friday at the group or not ...
